Captain Torin has fished the waters of St. Pete and Clearwater for nearly a decade. He grew up fishing the freshwaters of his hometown in Muskegon, MI with his grandfather. When he wasn’t on the water you could find Torin hunting in the wilderness with his dad. Between fishing with his grandfather and hunting with his dad, you could say that Torin’s love for the environment runs in his blood.

Although his grandfather has since passed, the familial fishing tradition carries on between him and his mother, who has always encouraged him to follow his dreams of working in the great outdoors. When he wasn’t hunting and fishing, you could find Torin playing hockey or on the back of a bull. Torin competed in rodeos as a bull rider from the age of 10 until he retired at 31. The competitive experience of bull riding and playing hockey taught Torin that with hard work and a positive mindset anything is possible. 

Torin’s love for the outdoors and active inclinations is the reason he loves to be on the water as much as possible. Helping others catch fish on his boat is what keeps Torin inspired.
