Weekly Charters:

July 3, 2023 to July 9, 2023:

Ran two fishing charters this week. It has it been a hot one, even the fish it seems know it is super hot. The first fishing charter I took out this week, was a father and son and man were they great clients. The fish were moving slow and it took us a while to find them, but eventually we did. We caught some small trout and one nice snook. The season is closed still for snook and we had to return the bad boy back into the water for him to grow. I can’t wait until snook season opens back up. I always like to practice catch and release, however when snook season is open it is one more species of fish we can keep, that is if the clients want to keep fish and the fish are in slot.

The second fishing charter was with three guys and they were a hook. We enjoyed laughs and had a great time. The weather however did not want to cooperate with us and before the massive storm came, we were able to hook into a very nice Red Drum. This Red Drum was Bryces biggest Red to date for him and that made me as the Capitan very pleased to hear. The storm was on out tail and we ran from it under a bridge. The fellas threw out some shrimp while we waited out the storm and caught some Mangrove Snapper, always a fun little fish to catch no matter the size.

Over all the Fishing charters this week were great and it was another successful week for One More Charters. Lets keep this bite rolling and those reels a zinging
